As a team of leaders we are here to connect with you, care for you, and help you develop your relationship with Jesus Christ. That means being available to listen to, talk with, pray for, and worship beside you. It means guiding those who seek truth and transformation to the One who freely gives those things. And it means being present to meet the spiritual needs of people wherever they are—whether in church, homes, hospital beds, the garden, office buildings, coffee houses, or on the streets.
As the pastor of Hillcrest I find it an incredible privilege and honor to lead this great community and to share the hope I have found in Christ.
My personal mission statement is to inspire others to see their God given potential and to instruct them according to God’s word on how to reach that potential. To that endeavor I try each day to lead in a way that attracts others to Jesus.
My greatest place of leadership is my home where I have a wonderful wife and four fabulous children. My journey of faith began early for me but my calling to the ministry did not come until I was preparing for the business world in college. At that time God called me to lead His church.
Church to me does not just consist of what happens inside the “walls.” Rather, church many times functions best outside the walls where I meet many great people. These places include local schools, recreation centers, soccer fields as well as many others.
My favorite verses include: Proverbs 3:5-6, Jeremiah 29:11 and Hebrews 12:1-3
My Passions include: Coaching and playing sports, exercise, everything Ohio State, building legos, watching Star Wars and everything else with my guys, dancing with my daughter and anything with my wife.
